WICC is looking for new Advocacy Interns to help advance our work on water insecurity and advocacy. Joining us this summer, Advocacy Interns will be working as part of the Advocacy Team to research water and advocate for water insecure areas in the United States. Working independently with weekly online meetings, a time commitment of 5-10 flexible hours a week is expected. This position is best suited for college students and upper-level high school students. No experience is required, but strong research, communication, and writing skills are all beneficial.

Inaugural Group of WICC Summer Interns, Summer 2020

The WICC Team is so excited to have new team members to help with our projects every summer. Our new interns/team members are from all over the country, and we are so lucky to get to work with them through the power of online, remote programs.

When the program started in 2020, we wanted to provide a unique and meaningful summer program for upper-level high-schoolers and undergraduate students during the COVID-19 crisis, considering many people lost their summer jobs, internships, and other opportunities. Our interns are now important team members developing our initiatives on each of our teams.
