COVID-19 Relief Fundraiser Initiative
Help WICC support water insecure communities around the country impacted by COVID-19
WICC hopes to support communities and organizations working overtime to provide aid for families struggling through two crises: water insecurity and COVID-19. If washing your hands with soap and water is the first line of defense against the virus, what are citizens without access to clean water supposed to do? Cities like Flint are still relying on water bottle donations as their main source of clean water, making it even more difficult to combat COVID. Many communities around the U.S. have had their problems compounded by the virus and need our help.
All funds raised by this initiative will be going to various community funds and nonprofit organizations all over the country. These groups are doing boots-on-the-ground work in these water insecure areas to make sure that people still have access to clean water during the COVID-19 crisis.
