Kayla Chang (she/her) holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Environmental Studies from Loyola Marymount University, graduating summa cum laude. She has been with WICC for 2 years, serving as the Director of Advocacy Operations, Weather & Climate Project Lead, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Team Lead, and DE Committee Liaison.

Based in Los Angeles, CA, she is pursuing a career in urban planning and design with a focus on creating climate-resilient, environmentally just, and inclusive cities. Inspired by innovative practices in cities across the nation and around the world, Kayla is dedicated to enhancing urban resilience and believes that successful urban resilience requires collaboration. With a special skill set in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), she integrates this expertise into projects with WICC. Additionally, Kayla advocates for incorporating environmental art into urban spaces, seeing it as a vital element in promoting inclusivity and enriching community engagement.
