Upstate Water Contamination Project Team Member
Liam Steele (he/him) is studying for a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science at Binghamton University and is responsible for community outreach and communication in the Adirondacks region of New York State, as well as contributing to projects with local high schools that are a part of WICC’s Salt Watch initiative.
The Water Insecurity Correction Coalition is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Upstate New York. We believe access to clean water is a human right, one that people often take for granted. Through advocacy, education, and development, our goal is to ensure every citizen has access to clean water, and raise awareness of issues relating to water insecurity on both a national and global level.
