Madeline Van Schelven

Fundraising & Finance Director | Board Treasurer

Madeline (she/her) has a BA in Sociology and History from University of Michigan and is currently a JD Student Loyola University Chicago School of Law.  Outside of WICC Madeline has worked on the Development and Major Gifts team at the University of Michigan.

She has been working on the WICC fundraising team since 2020. Throughout this time she has worked on in person and online fundraising events, grant writing, and engaging with our donor base. She aims to expand the impact of WICC’s fundraising efforts by engaging with donors and individuals in the communities we work with.

The Water Insecurity Correction Coalition is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Upstate New York. We believe access to clean water is a human right, one that people often take for granted. Through advocacy, education, and development, our goal is to ensure every citizen has access to clean water, and raise awareness of issues relating to water insecurity on both a national and global level.
